Gerry Cuttler


Gerry Cuttler is Cuttler & Company’s founder and principal. After receiving his civil and common law degrees from McGill University in 1981 and 1982, Gerry arrived in Vancouver, where he practiced law as a partner with prominent law firms since being called to the B.C. bar in 1983.

Gerry regularly acts as counsel in a wide range of corporate and commercial disputes, including cases involving, contracts, real estate, fiduciary duty, torts, fraud, intellectual property, insolvency, employment, partnerships, and significant chambers, trial and appeal experience and has appeared as counsel in many cases involving complex substantive and procedural issues, including class action litigation.

Gerry also has expertise in administrative law including legal ethics, the regulation of lawyers and professional conduct matters. He regularly provides advice concerning matters of professional conduct and acts as counsel in disciplinary hearings, appeals and judicial reviews.

In 2011, Gerry opened Cuttler & Company. Sharing offices and resources with his colleague Les Mackoff and Les’ team at Mackoff & Company, Cuttler & Company is able to enlist excellent associates to work under his direction whenever the dispute requires a team approach.
